Understanding Our College-Level Courses

Bishop Burton College offers a range of different course levels and types across our subject areas to suit your needs and previous qualifications.

We know that understanding the different course levels and types can be confusing, which is why we’ve listed them below to help you understand.

Each of our courses has specific entry requirements that vary depending on the level and subject you are wanting to apply for, so check out the course you're interested in for details.

Often the main difference between our courses is the awarding body we use, such as BTEC, City & Guilds or Pearson. Regardless of the awarding body, the levels are equivalent to each other.

We're always on hand to help, though if you have queries come along to an Open Event or get in touch.
