These are hands-on, practical courses, underpinned by theory units to give a broad understanding of cooking and the catering industry. A programme of off-site visits and guest speakers enriches course delivery, whilst work experience will help to prepare you for the exciting and demanding realities of professional cookery.

As a cookery student you’ll be involved with a number of on and off-site events and activities throughout the year - allowing you to show the breadth and depth of your culinary skills, as well as practising the crucial planning, preparation, and management of, catered events. You’ll gain a practical skillset that will prepare you for the next step in your education or career.
