Tom Jackson - Apprentice

Subject Food

Since starting his Butchery apprentice journey in 2021 Tom has gone from strength to strength, building his skills, knowledge and understanding of the Butchery industry, to determine his interests lay in a more traditional butcher’s route. He is currently working as Executive Butcher and line manager at Timm Family Butchers and studying the Level 3 Advanced Butcher course to further augment his skills and has even met royalty!

Ashton Davies - Apprentice

Subject Food

Ashton is a Level 3 Butchery Apprentice with Cranswick Country Foods in Hull. When he started his apprenticeship, he had no prior knowledge of the industry but quickly found his feet and has grown in confidence and capability as a valued member of the Butchery team. He is now training to become a Production Line Manager alongside his apprenticeship and hopes to open his own Butchers shops in the future to support other young people with their career ambitions.

Bradlee Radford, Apprentice

Subject Food

Bradlee is a Butchery Apprentice with Hull based Cranswick Country Foods, one of the largest pork producers in the UK. In addition to his budding skills as a butcher, Bradlee is also a rugby league star, having played for his country on a number of occasions. Cranswick have been incredibly supportive of his passion. 

“I have been very lucky with my butchery apprenticeship, because my employers have always supported me with my rugby career and have allowed me to train and tour with my country whenever needed.”
