Netball Team and Coaches

Meet the Coaches!

Kim Clark

Assistant Netball Coach

Kim is a fantastic netball coach with a strong passion for helping athletes develop their skills and love for netball. Her commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment is essential for athletes, especially younger ones, to thrive and grow both individually and as part of a team. Her experience as a performance coach at Chevrons Netball Club and her roles with Leeds Rhinos Netball, including coaching U14s, showcases her versatility and ability to coach across different age groups.

Running the Simply Netball Academy alongside Hannah Doughty is another great initiative, particularly as it helps nurture junior talent in Humberside. The combination of their expertise and dedication to developing young players is bound to have a significant impact on the future of netball in the region.

Hannah Doughty

Head of Netball

Hannah is doing some fantastic work in the netball community, both as a L2 coach and as someone who is passionate about developing young talent. Her experience at various levels, from club, regional premier league and franchise pathway coaching, speaks to her dedication and skill in the sport. Hannah is head coach of the U18s at Leeds Rhinos Netball and coached with them since 2020. It shows her dedication to nurturing the next generation of netball talent, particularly at such a crucial age when players are transitioning into more advanced levels of the sport. As the head coach, she has a significantly impacted on both the players' skill development and their mental approach to the game.

The fact that she and Kim have established a development academy to support juniors in Humberside is especially exciting, as it provides real-world coaching opportunities for students at Bishop. This hands-on experience could be incredibly valuable for those looking to pursue coaching careers or deepen their understanding of the sport.
