Football Coaching

If you're aiming for a career as a football coach, the Bishop Burton Sport academy will provide you with an amazing opportunity to work with some of the best and highest qualified coaches in the country.

The Bishop Burton Sport football coaching academy sits in conjunction with our Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Sport and Exercise Science.

The academy is a one-year (full-time) or two-year (part-time) programme that will allow you to continue your education through hands-on, applied learning. Alongside your academic studies you will have access to various football coaching internships in our high-performance environment, utilising our men's and women's football academies.

How will I develop my football coaching skills?

Wednesday afternoons are reserved for you to access our college football teams, giving you the chance to apply your academic knowledge to practical coaching.

All of our college football teams are currently operating at the highest possible level within college sport, with our men's 1st team currently performing amongst the top eight colleges in the country.
