Bishop Burton is home to a fully operational 890-acre farm, split between arable and grassland, beef and sheep units, a high-quality pig unit that is currently being redeveloped, plus a fleet of the latest machinery. As part of the government’s new Institute of Technology (IoT) programme, we have even more facilities coming too. Bishop Burton has received £1.7 million to invest in a new training facility on campus, which will include classrooms, dedicated workspaces and precision farming technologies. You will also have access to our Science Centre, which houses fully-equipped laboratories.
