Football Coaching Academy
An amazing opportunity to work with some of the best and highest qualified coaches in the country.
Bishop Burton College is now delivering a Football Coaching Academy that will sit in conjunction with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Sport and Exercise Science.
The new academy is a 1-year course (full-time) or a 2-year course (part-time) which will allow students leaving college the opportunity to continue their education through applied learning, whilst accessing various football coaching internships in our high-performance environment, utilising our college football academy.
Applicants will have a minimum of 48 UCAS points, which may be from qualifications such as A-Levels, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas, Access to HE Diplomas and City and Guilds Advanced Technical Diplomas, amongst others.

Please be aware you will need to complete a DBS check (approximately £60.00 funded by the college) to fulfill the Football Coaching Academy.
Wednesday afternoons are reserved as part of the new Football Coaching Academy which will allow students with a passion for coaching the opportunity to access our college football teams to apply their academic knowledge through practical coaching.
All of our college football teams are currently operating at the highest possible level within college sport, with our Mens 1st team currently performing amongst the top 8 colleges in the country.
- Being part of the Football Coaching Academy, you will have the opportunity to work and learn alongside UEFA A Licence coaches in a practical coaching environment at the highest levels of college sport
- You will be able to access coaching courses funded by the college
- Scholarship opportunities to be part of the Football Coaching Academy are available as part of an application process
- Football Coaching kit is available free of charge as part of the scheme.
