You would study and be assessed for your practical skills in the workplace, then study for your technical certificates at Bishop Burton one day per week.

As a Vineyard Apprentice, you will work alongside the Estate Manager the candidate will learn all aspects of viticulture. Tending to vines across our vineyard sites and also gaining both experience and knowledge of the winery. Job description: (in brief) * Hands-on involvement of every aspect of vineyard work from planting, pruning, tying, thinning, and harvesting - General maintenance and upkeep of the vineyard and trellising. * The job will entail grass cutting with the quad bike and the use of a small vineyard tractor. *Out of season there will be work on the farm and the wedding site. * Must have a methodical approach to work and understand the job is a physical role that needs both hard work and dedication in all types of weather. * There will be times the role will require the right candidate to work on their own and take initiative.
