Course Information

- Ecology
- Practical and Technical Land and Habitat Management Techniques
- Principles of Financial Management
- Applications for Different Machinery, Tools and Equipment
- Organise and Prioritise Environmental and Land Management Work
- Recruit, Train, Supervise, Motivate and Manage Volunteers and Staff
- Identify the Unique Range of Native and Invasive Species and Habitats
You will need to be aged 18+ and have appropriate employment in the environmental and conservation industry.
It is preferable that you have a minimum GCSE grade 4/C in English and Maths. If you don't have Level 2 English and Maths you will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment.
You will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours through theory and practocal-based lessons. A blended learning approach is beneficial - you will have face to face and online lessons
You will be released from work for a block of time to undertake training at college.
