Sasha Deamer

Sasha spent 15 years working in an opticians before deciding she wanted to switch careers. After originally completing our short course in floristry, she enrolled onto the Level 3 course.

She said 'My favourite thing about the course has been meeting new people. Our class is lovely and we all get on really well. It was also great to experience the Harrogate Flower Show. Outside of college, I work freelance creating floristry displays for film sets and events. I meet up with the art directors whilst they do the planning, then I build the vision they had in their heads.

I'd definitely recommend doing the floristry course. It gives you the chance to be creative and explore what you can do with nature. To anyone thinking about it. I'd say go for it!'
