Floristry Degree Courses

Want to become a florist? Thinking of enhancing your knowledge and skills to further your floristry career? Perhaps, you’d simply like to excel at flower arranging?

Join one of our full or part-time Foundation and Honours Floristry degree courses and benefit from our outstanding facilities, teaching and reputation for floristry skills and design.

Our degree courses in floristry at University Centre Bishop Burton (UCBB) will provide you with the qualifications you need for a career in event or retail floristry, or to set out on your own journey as a freelance, self-employed florist.

You’ll gain essential theoretical knowledge, study materials and a broad range of floristry skills and techniques, and explore contemporary floristry design.

Floristry experience

You will have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your talent and creativity, including developing your own final exhibition and competing in competitions. This will help you to gain confidence, build a winning portfolio and get you noticed.

You’ll also develop valuable entrepreneurial skills and experience working in real-life environments, including our commercial floristry shop here on campus.

Our degree-level floristry course programmes are the perfect way to launch your career within floristry, with many of our students starting work or their own businesses before graduating.
