I chose to go to Bishop Burton College because I could compete and train at a high level of football, whilst still being able to carry on my studies to help me go to university.
"I have enjoyed being part of the Football Academy as it has further developed my footballing ability. This is because training is always at a good standard and requires you to push yourself, as it is always at a high intensity. This is so you are not a stranger to the high intensity you must play at, in order to win matches in the college league."
I have become a more independent person whilst being at the college, as I have lived away from home where I am less reliant on others. Also, I have become more confident and made new mates, which I have gained through participating in the college football team and living as a resident at Bishop Burton.
My highlight at Bishop Burton is becoming league champions in one of the top leagues available in the country at college level. We were rewarded for the hard work we put in on the training pitch!
