What is your favourite part of the course?
My favourite part of the course has been the psychology unit, as it has been interesting to learn about why people commit crimes and how their childhood can influence their decisions in later life.
Where do you hope this course will lead?
At this point in time, I’m unsure of what career I want to go into, but I do want to go to university to study either criminology or psychology, and I hope that this course will help me achieve that.
What positive things did you wish you knew before you came?
I wish I knew that I would be meeting some of my closest friends. I also wish I knew how interesting I would find the course as once I start a new subject, I become much more interested in the subject than I originally thought I would be.
What facilities do you like the most and why?
I really enjoy the LRC because I can get my assignments done easier as I have fewer distractions and can get really focused. I enjoy the Meadows as it is a great place to spend time with friends and to relax at lunch time or after class.
What is your favourite thing about being on campus?
Because of how big the campus is, me and my friends often enjoy walking around the gardens and looking at the animals.
How do you travel to and from the college?
I use the free college bus to get to and from the college and while it reaches my stop quite early in the morning, I’ve never found it to be much of an issue.
Is there anything else you'd like to mention?
I have really enjoyed my time at Bishop Burton College and I have met some of my closest friends here who have helped me through a lot.
