Getting Here: Free Bus Routes

Bishop Burton College is set within the rural landscape of East Yorkshire, close to Beverley, Hull and York. The campus address is York Road, Bishop Burton, Beverley, HU17 8QG, and it is easily reached by car, bus and other transport options.

Bishop Burton College is set within 890 hectares of East Yorkshire countryside, providing an extensive campus for learning, training and specialist facilities

The college is approximately:

  • 10 minutes from Beverley
  • 20 minutes from Hull
  • 45 minutes from York by road or bus connections

Free Bus Services for Students*

Bishop Burton College operates a network of 13 free bus routes across Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire for full-time college students, helping make travel to and from campus reliable and cost-free.

Free Parking

The campus offers hundreds of free parking spaces for students and visitors. Once enrolled, students will be issued with a free parking pass; passes can also be applied for later in the year if required.

Bus Passes

1. Download the EY Buses App on your device and register for an account using your personal email address

2. Once you have enrolled and received your Bishop Burton College email address, we will send your annual bus pass by email as a gift code

3. Enter the gift code in the EY Buses App and activate your pass

4. When travelling, scan the QR code in the app to board the college bus.


Bus tokens are valid for one journey on any college bus route.

Multiple bus tokens can be purchased from Student Services using a debit card, Apple Pay or similar payment methods.

An out-of-hours emergency bus token can be purchased via the online shop. When travelling, simply show your bus token or receipt to the driver.
