The course

This entry level programme is suited to those who require academic or personal support within a college environment and is offered in different pathways.

Focusing on small group sizes, students learn valuable life skills in communication, team work, following instructions and personal action planning. The practical nature of these courses complements the individual needs of students and supports them in developing skills ready for their chosen industry through progression on to Entry Level 3.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

You will learn through a mixture of theory and practically sessions at the college.

  • One pair of steel toe cap boots
  • One pair of college-branded overalls
  • One pair of gardening gloves
  • All other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided
  • Folder with dividers to organise your work and assessments
  • Stationery including pens, pencils and a notepad for use in class
You will be able to progress to the Entry Level 3 programmes.
