Management and Administration T Level at Bishop Burton College

Bishop Burton College is part of a selected consortium to deliver world-class technical education and is launching its brand-new Management and Administration T Level ready for September 2022.

The Management and Administration T Level has been designed with employers in the Business sector preparing you to enter the industry or to progress into higher level study. You will gain a solid understanding of the intricate workings and procedures of running and working in a business, with a specific focus on leadership and management. 

What will I study?

Across the two-years of this full-time course, you will cover the following core knowledge and skills:

Core Knowledge:

• Contexts that organisation operate and manage in
• Key people and stakeholders that support business operations
• Quality and compliance standards that affect business operations
• Financial contents that organisations operate within
• Key policies and procedures that support organisations
• Concepts of project and change management
• Business behaviours that influence how organisations operate

Core Skills:

• Business and Commercial Awareness including organisational structures
• Project Management including carrying out a project
• Communication including developing communication plans
• Collaborative Working including integrating stakeholders into their business
• Problem Solving including undertaking cost-benefit analysis and benchmarking using KPI’s
• Undertaking research using PESTLE and SWOT analysis techniques.

You will also have the exciting opportunity to study one standalone occupational specialism:

• Business Improvement
• Team Leadership/Management
• Business Support

As part of your T Level, you will take part in a 45-day industry placement to gain real hands-on practical work experience, to ensure that you stand out from the crowd.
