This Parents and Carers Information Evening is designed to welcome you to the College, introduce you to some of the people who will be working with your young person and provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
The evening will start with a warm welcome from our Assistant Principal Further Education, Rachel Richardson, who will provide you with an overview of Bishop Burton College to help you gain a better understanding of the college’s processes and procedures, key dates, enrichment opportunities and our online parent portal.
This talk will be repeated throughout the evening, you can select the talk that you would like to attend when you reserve your place via Eventbrite, please arrive 5 minutes before the talk time:
After the talk you will then have the opportunity to meet members of the student support teams including Careers, Finance, Transport, Accommodation and Additional Learning Support, and most importantly visit your young person’s academic department.
Due to limited seating, we kindly request that your young person does not attend this event with you, unless absolutely necessary.
