The Student Association supports lots of events, including the normal weekly social events such as quizzes, film nights, discos, trips out to the cinema, beach, laser quest and ice skating rink, as well as the bigger events of the year - Christmas, Valentine's and Summer Balls.
As a college with a strong sporting tradition, the association also arranges supporters' buses to away fixtures to cheer on our teams. The huge success of our sports teams means frequent aftermatch celebrations too!
The association meets with the Principal and other staff regularly, as they act as the formal link between staff and students, It means the Student Association can discuss your issues as well as making sure that we know first hand about planned changes within the college. Some of the reasons students join the Student Association are to gain experience of working within a team, to represent all other students and to ensure they have a say in how the college is run. If you have energy, ideas and would like to contribute to student life at college, there is an opportunity to become part of the Student Association. Talk to some of the members and get more information.
