Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to board my dog?
For one dog it is £15 per night, for two dogs sharing one kennel it is £28 per night and for three dogs sharing one kennel it is £39 per night. We do not allow any more than three dogs per kennel.
What times can I drop off / collect my dog?
We have set drop off and pick up times, which run from 8.30am – 10 am and 3pm - 5 pm. Regardless of when you arrive or collect your dog, you will only be charged per night.
What vaccinations does my dog need?
All dogs that stay with us must be fully vaccinated within one year. An initial one-off course of vaccinations is not sufficient if it was administered over a year ago, in which case a booster vaccination would be required. All dogs must also be vaccinated against Kennel Cough. Please note, Kennel Cough is not included in the yearly booster vaccine and must be requested by yourselves to be done by your veterinarian.
Does my dog need to be treated for fleas or worms?
We do not require that dogs have been treated for fleas or worms however in the interest of hygiene and health we prefer that your dog is up to date with any such treatments.
Do you provide a day boarding service?
Unfortunately, this is a service we do not provide and all dogs must stay a minimum of 1 night.
Are the dogs walked during their stay?
All dogs are walked at least twice a day around our college campus. All exercise is on lead only; however, we do have a small secure off-lead exercise area within our kennels. During term time, this is often more as our students engage with dogs are part of their studies, provided of course that you are happy for our students to work with your dog.
What involvement will the students have with my dog?
When you book your dog in for the first time, you will be asked to tick a box to confirm that you are happy for your dog to interact with our students as part of their studies. Involvement may involve walking, health checking, grooming and, occasionally, training. All students working with dogs are under the supervision of a member of staff at all times. Please be aware this includes term time only.

Do I need to bring bowls?
We would usually advise against bringing standard dog bowls as we provide these. However, if you have special feeding bowls or T stands then you are more than welcome to bring them.
Is bedding provided during my dogs stay?
We offer a range of bedding, including vet beds, duvets, blankets and towels. We also provide plastic beds. However, you may prefer to bring your dog's own bedding.

All of our staff are experienced and trained in dealing with various animal medication and care. Therefore, any treatments you would like us to provide for your dog during their stay is not a problem. Simply provide us with a full breakdown of exactly what treatments are needed upon booking in and we will create a medication chart and pill box (if needed). All medications are safely stored away in a locked medical cabinet.
