Boarding Kennels

The Boarding Kennels at Bishop Burton College are a 5-star rated, licensed facility, inspected by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. Located in a quiet rural setting in East Yorkshire, our boarding kennels provide a calm and secure environment for dogs, supporting high standards of welfare and care while offering supervised, student-led provision.

Dogs staying in our kennels receive daily care and attention from trained students, supported by experienced staff, to ensure their welfare, comfort and routine are maintained while you’re away.

With over 24 years’ experience providing dog boarding in East Yorkshire, our purpose-built kennels are carefully designed to reduce stress and promote comfort throughout each dog’s stay.

We have 20 individual boarding kennels, each of which includes:

A large bedding area
Access to a covered outdoor run
Automatic underfloor heating at no extra cost

All dogs are exercised at least twice a day, either individually or within their family group, to support both physical wellbeing and enrichment.

Our most recent inspection awarded the kennels a 5-star rating – the highest available. This confirms that our boarding kennels meet all mandatory licensing requirements alongside a range of higher standards for animal welfare, facilities, staffing and day-to-day management.

Prices

Overnight boarding

One dog: £21 per night
Two dogs (sharing): £38 per night
Three dogs (sharing): £53 per night

Day boarding

£14 per dog

Drop-off and collection times

Drop-off: 3.00pm–4.30pm only
Collection: 8.30am–10.30am only
