Monica Zetterqvist Sheppard

Qualifications & Professional Background
A British Horse Society (BHS) Stage 4 Senior Coach (Eventing), currently working towards BHS Stage 5 Coach status, Monica also holds a Foundation Degree in Equine Sports Science and Coaching and a Certificate in Education.

With more than 20 years at Bishop Burton College, Monica has progressed from the Equine Yard team to Further Education instruction and now lectures in Higher Education, bringing extensive practical knowledge and industry experience to her teaching.

Her specialist areas include coaching, equitation, event management, leadership and preparing students for BHS assessments. Throughout her career, Monica has successfully coached numerous students to achieve their BHS qualifications.

She has a Practitioners membership with the International Society for Equitation Science and Fellowship of Higher Education (FHEA).
