What You Study
- The roles, responsibilities and relationships of a tutor in education and training
- How to plan and deliver inclusive teaching / training sessions
- How to assess and give constructive and developmental feedback to students to support their development.
Students must be 19+ to undertake this programme. It is desirable that students have a GCSE grade 4 or C or above in Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification.
Twelve weeks part-time, with sessions held on a Wednesday evening, 6pm - 9pm. This course is developed via blended learning, with sessions held remotely.
On completion of the programme, students can progress on to the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education, Certificate in Education or Diploma in Education and Training.
If you are already employed in the education sector, this course will improve your chances of promotion and if you are not, it will provide the ideal platform to launch a career in teaching.
