Public Services and Criminology students at Bishop Burton College and University Centre are prepared for a wide variety of careers.
We provide realistic, hands-on experiences which help our students decide on the specific path that is best for them. This includes work experience placements and guest speakers.
For college-level students on our Public Services courses, speakers include the police, armed forces and others. They also benefit from exciting and challenging field trips, which broaden their horizons.
Students studying a Criminology degree with University Centre Bishop Burton are prepared to join areas of the criminal justice sector, with guest speakers from Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service, the police and non-governmental organisation (NGO) representatives supporting crime reduction.
