The Course

Countryside Workers will be able and willing to do challenging work outdoors, in a variety of locations carrying out specific environmental and conservation tasks.

Apprentices without level 1 and 2 English and mathematics will need to achieve a minimum of level 1 in these subjects prior to taking the end point assessment.

  • Entry Requirements

    Appropriate employment within the game and wildlife sector

    It is preferable candidates have a minimum GCSE grade D/3 in English and maths.

  • Progression

    More advanced courses are available at the college for further progression.

  • Careers

    On completion of the apprenticeship, suitably able candidates may be able to progress to supervisory level or Ranger positions within the industry.
