Basic Tractor Driving

The Course
The aim of this course is to ensure that you receive the appropriate basic tractor driving training, in line with, and as recommended by, the Health and Safety Executive.
A certificate of training attendance is achieved upon successful completion of the course.
This course can be delivered either at the college or on your own site, using your own equipment ensuring your employees are trained in the environment they are most familiar with and at a time that best suits you.

What You Study
This course introduces candidates to:
- The prevention of accidents
- Learning controls
- Daily checks
- Driving a tractor
- Mounted and trailed implements.

Entry Requirements
The minimum age for candidates attending this course is 13. There are no other formal entry requirements for this qualification however candidates will be required to supply their own personal protective equipment which should consist of:
- Overalls
- Steel toe capped boots
- High visibility vest.

One day. Courses will run on Wednesdays.

Progression
Students can progress on to the NPTC Level 2 Tractor Driving course.
