There has been an exciting change to our Level 3 in Floristry course here at Bishop Burton.
The course duration has been extended to 2 years for adults, with a commitment of just 1.5 days per week. This increased flexibility makes the course ideal for those looking to take a new career direction, managing work alongside their studies.
For those aged 16-18, the course can be combined with Art & Design for a full study programme.
The requirements for this course remain the same; 4 GCSEs at grade 4, including English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2.
Kathryn Seaward, Curriculum Area Manager for Creative and Care, said “We’re so excited about this change to our Level 3 Floristry course.
Part-time learning is so essential for our adult students who are managing busy lives alongside their training, so this change will make Floristry so much more accessible for those looking to get into this exciting industry.”
Floristry students will be able to take advantage of our expert teaching, relaxed and well-designed classroom environment, and fabulous outside learning opportunities including the chance to attend high-profile events and competitions, including Harrogate and Chelsea Flower Shows.
Many of our students go on to secure rewarding roles in the thriving UK floristry sector, often setting up their own successful businesses and ventures.
