Bishop Burton College is celebrating its latest satisfaction ratings. 84% of the College’s full-time students have said they were satisfied with the overall quality of their course – up from 19 points last year - one of the highest increases of any other College in the region.
The figure compares with the average score for colleges of 81%. Students said staff were good at explaining things (89%), were accessible and enthusiastic (86%) and made their subjects interesting to learn about (83%).
The National Student Survey, carried out by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, drew responses from almost 290,000 final-year students at 154 higher education institutions and 106 further education colleges.
