Freshers 2019

This year’s planning for our Freshers’ week is well underway. All you have to do is purchase a wristband to take part.

Events and activities (subject to change) include a Hypnotist comedy night, a VIP cinema experience, a trip to Inflatanation in Beverley, zoo themed party night and entry into a host of nightclubs in Hull. 

Free transport to nightclubs and activities is provided.

You'll also receive a Free Freshers’ t-shirt (a range of sizes have been ordered on a first come first choice)

General information

Limited Stabling is available on site, please visit Equo Events to book.

Please make sure you get your entries in before the closing date. All classes will be capped at 60. After this balloting will take place as per rule AR2 – ‘NSEA Additional Rules for Qualifiers 2018-19’.

Please note rule B3.) Only the Team Manager is to deal with the secretary and/or officials of an event. Changes to team members / individuals must be made before the day of the competition and preferably before start times have been published. Changes on the day may only be made if there is an injury or incident which prevents a horse or rider from competing and will be at the discretion of the Competition Secretary.

All competitors, parents and representatives from every school must ensure that they act courteously to stewards and officials at all times. Most of them are volunteers and rudeness is not acceptable.

College Open Event

This College Open Event is aimed at people thinking about what to do after GCSEs or for adults who are looking to start a new vocation.

The event runs between 10am and 1pm. Drop in at any time, but expect to spend an hour or so exploring the college and speaking to our staff.

Staff will be on hand to discuss our college level courses, i.e. BTECs, apprenticeships and Access to Higher Education courses.

The event runs between 10am and 1pm, with welcome talks taking place at 10am and 11.30am.
