Travel and Tourism

Study the business of travel and tourism and the management and delivery of events. Explore current industry issues, different approaches to marketing, and the key role of effective customer service in tourism and hospitality. Examine the development of visitor attractions and sustainable tourism.

We’ll help you to gain additional qualifications and experience, and build in-demand employability skills. Off-site visits and guest speakers enrich course delivery. You will gain a sound knowledge of regional, national and global perspectives - and a practical skillset that will prepare you for the next step in your education or career.

Our courses recognise that the travel and tourism sector includes services such as travel retail, currency exchange, tour operations and tourist boards. It covers passenger transport including aviation and rail, and visitor attractions such as museums, theme parks, zoos and heritage sites. It includes accommodation services, including hotels and holiday parks, and the management of events and conferences.
