This course combines NPTC CS38 Climbing Trees and Performing Aerial Rescue with NPTC CS39 Using a Chainsaw From Rope and Harness.
The course includes tree climbing theory, tree safety, tree cutting, rescues, first aid procedures and using a chainsaw safely. The course also includes practical aspects such as climbing techniques, moving around a canopy, branch walking, rescues, and receiving, starting and using the chainsaw safely.
This course is only available to companies with equipment and woodland sites to use for the course and at least four candidates are required.
