Health and Social Care and Childcare Overview
Courses build on our links with placement providers across the region. Settings include day nurseries, pre-school provision, childminders, special schools, primary schools, and children’s centres. Through these positive partnerships we ensure that our students are fully equipped for the world of work. Employers and outside agencies and organisations contribute directly to the review and development of our programmes.
Our full-time and industry-based staff bring a rich range of essential sector-specific skills and practice-based experience and knowledge to each course. Bringing together classroom and work-based learning we equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to employment and the needs of local, regional and national job markets. We produce childcare professionals with exceptional prospects.
