Bishop Burton College has given Brooklyn the platform to follow his passion for gardening, inspired by his grandad.
He says he has thrived at the College because of the support he has received and would eventually like a career as a self-employed landscape gardener.
“We’ve learned everything you need to know about growing and caring for plants,” said Brooklyn.
“I want to be a landscape gardener. At first I want to work for someone else to build up some experience but eventually I would like to be my own boss.
“My grandad does a lot of gardening and I have always helped him out. That is where I get it from.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the College because everyone is very supportive.”
