BTEC Level 3 in Equine Management
“There is so much you can learn about the industry here and it equips you for whatever you want to do working with horses.”
Georgia has enjoyed her time at Bishop Burton so much after starting in January that she aims to return one day as an Equine lecturer herself.
She joined as a late starter at the turn of the year because she felt she was not fulfilling her potential with the A-Levels she was studying at another college.
She says it has proven to be an inspired decision.
“I was at a college near to where I live and I wasn’t getting on very well with the A-Levels I had chosen,” said Georgia.
“I’ve always loved horses since I was young so I decided to come to Bishop Burton.
“Everyone was really welcoming and I found I fitted in here really well. There is so much you can learn about the industry here and it equips you for whatever you want to do working with horses.
“The facilities are really good and the tutors are all so supportive. I’m now hoping to come back here as a lecturer in the future.”
