This course is designed as a platform for you to get a broad range of knowledge and understanding around employability skills and requirements to support your progress into industry. You will also have the opportunity to learn about a wide range land-based practices over an intensive six month period, which will prepare you for progression by supporting personal development of employability skills or progression onto a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Land-based Technology, depending on your career goals.
Six months, starting 21 January 2019, inclusive of four weeks external work placement.
Potential to progress onto a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Agriculture or a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Land-based Technology.

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or D or equivalent, preferably including Science, English and Maths, or a Level 1 qualification in a related subject. One satisfactory reference is also needed.

Ashley is travelling the world as a vehicle mechanic in the army after completing his two-year Engineering course.
He is confident his time at Bishop Burton College has prepared him for this exciting opportunity.
