This practical course provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to become a recognised bricklayer. There is currently a demand for bricklayers and this Diploma will set you up perfectly to go straight into the trade. Students are also given the opportunity to showcase their skills by representing the college in the WorldSkills Competitions.

- Work experience and employability skills
- English and Maths, as required.
One year full-time, normally in college three days a week.
Students have a range of further study options, including the Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying or one of our plastering courses.
Work as a qualified bricklayer, with the potential to develop your career across the wider construction industry in roles such as site foreman, building supervisor, building control officer, construction plant operator and many more.
A relevant Level 1 qualification and one satisfactory reference is needed.
