This course will prepare you for work in the trowel trades, particularly bricklaying. It is a very practical course designed to meet the needs of the construction industry, where there is a skills shortage of bricklayers.

- English, Maths and ICT, as required.
One year full-time, normally in college three days a week.
Higher levels of study are available at the college, such as Level 2 and Level 3 Bricklaying.
Work as a qualified bricklayer on a range of different building developments, for established companies or on a self-employed basis, as well as specialist work such as restoration and conservation.
A genuine passion for the subject and one satisfactory reference is needed.
