How to Apply
With competition for places on courses always a consideration, it’s never too early to apply for a course. You can send complete your application as soon as you’ve decided the career route you’re interested inm but the best time is the autumn term the year before you leave school.
- Simply choose the course for you and fill out an online application form.
- You will then be invited in for an interview. After receiving an offer and accepting a place, you’ll be sent the information you need to join.
- Once you get your exam results, let us know how you got on and we can enrol you as a Bishop Burton College student.
You can also attend one of our Open Events, where you can apply and be interviewed for a Further Education course.
Bishop Burton College extends a warm welcome to applicants from overseas. Overseas students should apply using the methods detailed above.
As well as the entry requirements detailed on our course pages, you will need to show us that you have proficiency in English, and the qualifications that would be necessary to gain a place at a home university. We define proficiency in English as a minimum of 550 points in a TOEFL test, a minimum score of 6 in a British Council ELTS test, or a GCSE at grade 4 or C or equivalent.
The college asks that overseas students provide proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses and fees before leaving their home country.
Please note: Bishop Burton College is unable to provide any help or assistance in obtaining a visa or sponsorship.
