We have an exciting new role to support students to enable them to fulfil their potential.
As part of the growing University Centre Team we require staff to support a new initiative in our higher team, helping students achieve their full potential. This new team will coach and provide advice and guidance to students undertaking higher education at the college.
Often it is not academic issues that stop students from achieving their goals. The post holders will be responsible for supporting students. As part of the wider college team, post holders will link with academic staff and support staff, such as the counselling team and careers advisors.
You will carry out pastoral tutorials, you will work with the wider college team to ensure that everything possible can be done to support students in achieving their goals.
You will form the glue that coaches higher education students to success.
You will need to have coaching or counselling experience and be willing to gain additional qualifications.
The college is happy to consider full or part time contracts and will also consider term time working. Please indicate your preference when you apply.
