The Employer

In the 1980's, Cranswick moved into food production, bringing one of the first ‘farm to fork’ offerings. Today, we’re one of the largest food producers in Britain, remaining true to our ethos of creating authentically made British food, without compromise.

Through shrewd investment, organic growth and good old-fashioned Yorkshire pragmatism, we’ve built a business focused on flavour, authentic production and quality.

Gourmet Sausages

We believe that inventive flavours come from passion and imagination. Our state-of-the-art facility in Yorkshire embraces the values of Simply Sausages, with whom the business was originally founded in 1995.

By using only the best cuts of quality pork and fresh herbs and spices, we have elevated the humble banger to new levels. With hundreds of bespoke gourmet recipes, from Italian sausages with red wine and fennel, to American inspired hotdogs, we create a range of outstanding flavours for our customers to enjoy.

All pork is hand trimmed by our expert butchers to ensure a consistent finish. By only using small-batch production and gently mincing and blending our sausage filling, we replicate the techniques that were used by Martin Heap in his original shops.
