Higher Education Manager

Administration and Student Experience

 

ANNUAL SALARY:            £30,863 - £35,298 (dependent on skills and experience)

Full-Time:                             37 Hours per week

 

Are you wanting to lead a team of talented individuals driven to provide the best pastoral care and student experience that can be offered?

 

The HE Manager Administration and Student Experience will be responsible for effective processes that support a high -quality academic provision and administration of the HE student lifecycle.  The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the college has compliant administration processes with regards to external regulatory frameworks and standards for higher education.  The post holder will work with other managers preparing submission and returns to various bodies.

 

Ideally, you will have experience of leading and implementing high-quality, customer-focused administration service to support the delivery of Higher Education. Experience of analysing and developing processes is essential. High-level IT and communication, skills are also vital, as is experience of working in partnership with managers at all levels.  As well as ensuring the academic teams are supported you will also be responsible for ensuring effective pastoral support for HE students, so an understanding of this area would be an advantage.

 

The successful candidate will line manage two small teams (admin and pastoral care) so experience of line management would be a benefit.

 

You will be able to operate in a complex and changing environment.
