Launched in 2020 T Levels are innovative post GCSE courses specifically designed to provide a mix of classroom-based learning with hands-on practical placement experience.

This unique balance allows students to put everything they’ve learned into practice within working businesses.

We were very excited to be part of the first wave of education providers delivering T Levels and in Summer 2022, students studying a T Level in Education and Childcare became amongst the first in the country to complete T Level qualifications.

Since then we have introduced further T Levels in Health and Management and Business.

Milly

Kisstini

Daisy

"You get so much experience and it’s so rewarding seeing the same children every day and knowing that you’re making an impact on their life."

Milly chose the T Level in Education and Childcare because the idea of the placement element really appealed to her. She wants to work with children with SEND and behavioural difficulties in the future and felt that the placement would provide her with a good introduction to life working in education. Milly has particularly enjoyed the practical element of the course meeting the children and being able to apply everything she learned in the classroom. When she completes her course, she plans to become a Teaching Assistant and progress onto becoming a Behavioural Support Teacher.

"It’s so rewarding in so many different aspects, from the theory side to the hands-on experience."

Kisstini has always wanted to work with children and the T Level course seemed like the perfect route for her. She loves being out in industry through the placement element of the course and the experience of working in this environment has had a really positive effect on her confidence. On completion of her T Level Kisstini wants to progress into higher education and specialise in SEND Teaching.

"T Levels are quite hard but worth it in the end!"

Daisy chose to study a T Level because she really enjoys working with children. She loves the practical side, going out to placement but loves the facilities at college with the nursery setting as she can put things into practice. When she completes her course Daisy would like to progress to higher education and become a Primary Teacher.
