The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is a welfare charity which supports farming people of all ages if they are in financial difficulty and of limited means.
Their assistance can include giving one-off or regular grants, as well as providing essential household items and disability equipment. For working farmers they can fund relief staff to help in a crisis or offer training through their Gateway Project to help bring extra income on to the farm. For retired and / or disabled farmers they can contribute towards care home and home help costs, as well as running two residential homes of their own.
RABI is one of Bishop Burton College’s chosen charities and our staff and students support their work through many charitable activities and events.
