Trials Officer - Envirofield

This role involves all aspects of carrying out field trials including site selection, preparation of products, drilling, application and harvest. The role will include but is not limited to; leading field teams, protocol responsibility, reviewing SOPs, assisting in training junior staff, soil sampling and installation of porous pots.

Envirofield Ltd are an expert independent contract field trials company specialising in agricultural and environmental research across the UK. Undertaking all aspects of field trials within the agricultural sector covering predominantly arable crops, but not limited to. We are one of the UK’s leading soil sampling companies offering Soil Mineral Nitrogen sampling nationwide. Installation of porous pots to obtain water leachate is an area of our business which is rapidly growing working with major utility companies. We currently operate from three bases in Suffolk (head office), Dorset and North Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be self motivated, able to work independently and as a team member. Have good knowledge of agriculture. Work will involve both indoor and outdoor operations, in various weather conditions requiring an amount of manual labour and travelling between trial locations, therefore a full driving licence is essential.

Salary depending on experience and a benefits package.
