Carlton Towers is an historic stately home and one of Yorkshire's premier wedding, corporate, film location and event venues. They pride themselves on offering a first-class experience for all their visitors- the grounds are an essential part of that offering.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and personable individual willing to apply themselves flexibly to a range of tasks, ensuring a high standard of presentation is maintained.
This role will also include interaction with visitors, so you must be well presented and have good communication skills. The role will necessitate working outside in a range of weather conditions.
Carlton Towers has a small vineyard set within the walled gardens, which is a unique space- an aesthetically pleasing garden for visitors, with vines, roses, fruit trees, blackcurrants and herbs. The role will involve assisting in maintaining the vines and keeping their area looking good, for which full training will be given.
Across the year there will be a range of jobs, but at times there will be a concentration on the basic maintenance tasks of grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming etc.
They are looking for someone willing and able to stick to such tasks, reliably and competently, working with an eye for detail and professionalism.
