Working as part of the Seed Plant team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards
  • Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance and safe manual handling
  • Accurately recording and checking goods and completing associated paperwork
  • Providing general assistance to the Seed Plant team
  • Collecting and analysing seed samples
  • Coordinating deliveries of seed samples

Qualities that the candidate should have:

The successful candidate:

• Able to carry out a manual handling role, and be able to lift 25kg in a safe manner

• Able to drive a Counterbalance Forklift, with appropriate licence (essential)

• Able to conduct a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated and can work from own initiative

• Possess strong communication and accuracy skills
