We have a reputation for making you feel welcome from the first afternoon through to the graduation. We take care to ensure that you settle in well and receive all the support that you need to adjust to life here.

 

Life at College, you will be glad to know, isn't all work and no play. You will have plenty of opportunities to take part in the range of activities organised by the Students' Association which is a great way of meeting new friends and getting involved in what's going on.

 

 

Accommodation

College accommodation is all located within the main campus in our newly built student village. Living in one of our halls of residence is a great way to meet people and make friends in your first year. The majority of first year Higher Education students live on campus in our modern, purpose-built village.

Managed Accommodation - Over 18's

Many of our second and third year Higher Education students live off campus in managed houses. These are situated in nearby towns and villages, are privately owned, rented by the college and then sub-let to the student.

How to Apply

Accommodation details including a reservation form will be sent out to all applicants who have a firm course offer of place. Once you will receive an offer of a place on campus return the Accommodation Agreement and the £250.00 reservation fee which will trigger the room booking process.

 

 

 

Car Parking

Those students bringing cars, motorbikes or mopeds on site can do so free of charge. Everyone with a vehicle on site is required to display a current pass and must read and comply with the car parking, safe driving and clamping regulations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Security

The campus has CCTV for the safety of our students, staff and visitors. The College prides itself on providing a safe and friendly environment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eating areas

Refreshments are available in four catering outlets. Ostlers offers Fair Trade coffee, hot drinks and light meals in a continental café atmosphere.

The Bishop's Table offers traditional meals in a modern contemporary surrounding and the Meadows food hall has a bistro restaurant and is a popular choice for those who prefer fast food during the day.

A new addition to the College's suite of catering outlets is Canters, a café serving hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes.

 

 

Social & Sporting Events

These are organised on campus throughout the year and there is something happening every day – such as film nights; karaoke discos; pool tournaments and quiz nights.

Trips are arranged to the cinema and Hull Truck theatre, as well as shopping in York and Meadow Hall. Special food themes such as Mexican, Indian and Italian are prepared in Ostlers café and for the more adventurous – whole "weekend away" activities take place each term.

 

 

 

 

 

Shopping

If you need to do any shopping there are plenty of amenities near by either in Beverley, local villages or the nearby retail park. Or if you prefer eating out Beverley is pack with restaurants, take always, bars and pubs as are the surrounding villages and towns.
