The job
As part of our continued success and increased demand for our courses, we are looking to appoint a Course Manager who will lead the development of new Further Education Land Based Engineering courses and employer engagement activities, to enable the area to grow in line with industry needs.
In addition, the post holder will contribute to quality enhancement and will teach across related areas.
The candidate
You must have a good blend of industrial experience and qualifications in agricultural engineering, be an excellent communicator and be driven by helping people to succeed.
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as full teacher training will be available to the successful candidate.

- Lecturer in Agriculture (Arable)
Salary: £21,000 – £30,000 pa, depending on qualifications and experience
The job
The College runs a high quality commercial farm comprising 362 hectares of arable, forage maize and grassland. Arable crops include winter wheat and oilseed rape. Livestock include 150 Holstein cows, 700 breeding ewes and a high welfare pig unit.
This lecturing position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning in the Agriculture (Arable) curriculum area, teaching on a range of courses.
The candidate
You will have a solid industry based background with qualifications in crops and soil science.
You will have up to date CPD, be an excellent communicator and be driven to help people succeed.
A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential, as full teacher training will be available to the successful candidates.

Salary: £20.30 to £21.36 ph, depending on qualifications and experience

- Driver
Salary: £16,298 pa, pro-rata (Actual Salary: £11,740 pa)
The job
We are now looking for a reliable and experienced driver to transport both school/college students and goods between different locations.
The hours of work are 32 basic: Monday - 6.30 am - 9.30 am, 4.30 pm - 7.30 pm, Tuesday - Friday - 6.30 am - 9.30 am, 4.00 pm - 7.30 pm, term-time only (40 weeks per year), some weekend work and evening work may be required.
The candidate
Candidates must hold a PCV Group D licence, have experience of driving coaches and be smart, personable and professional.
