Animal lover Natalie lands dream job

Animal lover Natalie Everett (17) of Brewster Avenue in Immingham has landed a dream job before the end of her college course after writing to surgeries across the area in the hope of finding a position as a trainee veterinary nurse.
Natalie now attends Bishop Burton College one day a week and during the rest of the week works as a trainee veterinary nurse at Vets4Pets in Grimsby.

Now that spring is almost certainly in the air, thoughts turn to new life; frolicking lambs, fluffy chicks and fledgling birds.
However at Bishop Burton College new life has taken an altogether more exotic appearance with the arrival of a litter of baby meerkats.
New development to aid expansion of animal collections

A new outdoor extension to the animal management unit at Bishop Burton College will see the introduction of larger and more exotic species for learners to work with.
The brand new Outdoor Animal Management Centre has just been completed and houses a number animals whose husbandry needs are more complex, such as rheas, wallaby and alpaca - all animals which will provide new challenges for both Further and Higher Education learners.
