The programme
The First Diploma in Horticulture is a practical work-related course where students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations. The course covers the basic knowledge and technical practical skills that are needed to work within the horticulture industry.

The National Diploma in Horticulture at Bishop Burton College, while others will start out on careers in the horticulture industry or go onto Apprenticeships.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade D
OR
Level 1 qualification in a related subject, such as the BTEC Introductory Diploma in Land and Environment or Land-based operations
OR
"Life experience" will also be taken into account when considering applications from mature students.
