Special Features
Students studying this course will work both in the extensive college laboratories and make full use of the college land and estate. They will gain practical hands-on experience paying particular attention to Health & Safety.
People who take this course could go on to..
Employment as a science technician or progress to higher educational vocational qualifications and/or professional body exams.
Entry Requirements
Students must have a minimum of 4 GCSE A-C grades, including Science and Mathematics at grade C or above OR BTEC First Diploma or a related subject OR “Life experience” will also be taken into account when considering applications from mature students. In addition two satisfactory references are required.
